Subject: installed egcs-1.01 + bug report for catch(...)
Date: Mon, 23 Feb 1998 02:51:00 -0000	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <199802231049.KAA19890@tay.csl.co.uk> (raw)

	hi,

i have installed egcs-1.0.1 withotu any problems on a 586/linux/gnu
	laptop. i also installed binutils-2.8.1.0.19.

exception handling works ok (a big improvement over g++2.8 with
binutils 2.8) apart from catch(...) which compiles fine but doesn't
	catch anything.

i presume you will already know about this, if not please ask me
for more details (i do not have my machine at work, where i do have
an internet connection, so i cannot supply more details immediately,
but will happily bring more info in if necessary).

	thanks,
	andrew
