Actually, this is exactly what I hope to accomplish in this exercise. If I can reduce the 3000 messages into about 200 testcases that I can't dismiss as completely bogus and our respective experts can only have to look at 200 (probably to dismiss 150 ;-) we'll harvest 50 good testcases if we're lucky and hopefully not burn a lot of "expert-time" in the process.
