Hi,
I see that some people have had success with the kernel and the latest
egcs. Have you people been compiling with APM enabled? I narrowed the
problem down to apm_bios.c. If I compile that one file with the old
egcs, the kernel works perfectly. Oh, and thanks to everyone who responded
to my message :)

Works here... [with pgcc, though]
2.1.101, pgcc-19980502, UP, binutils 2.1.9.0.4, board supporting APM 1.2
