The autogenerated files cause grief with no end on my side, they very often cause rejects (at least for me), when I don't have the exact same version of some tool as was used to build the file in the repository (given that the output even depends on the machine where they were build) The files that most often cause problems are the *info files and bison output, with configure seldom causing big problems.
