Please don't take this personal, but unfortunately your answer wasn't
appropriate in the context of a conforming C implementation. The
<stdarg.h> and <stdlib.h> headers are very different from the files in gcc
source. It is important to keep this distinction in mind, otherwise the
-ansi flags does not deserve its name.
