I didn't see that in that message. But, you are right that it probably could affect most ports. Some ports (where pretty much everything is word-sized) are probably OK, by luck. Anyhow, I think I have a cleaner patch. Would you mind mailing me (privately) the preprocessed source, cc1plus command-line options, and the target-triplet you're using, so I can make sure that I fixed the problem?
