OK.  I believe that the change that Zack Weinberg made changing
ADA_CFLAGS to T_ADAFLAGS was incorrect.  Aside from the fact
that this is incorrect for cross builds, T_ADAFLAGS appears
to be used only when compiling ada files in GCC.

I looked at the segmentation fault that I previously reported
in this thread.  It occurs in process_decls in trans.c on an
index instruction.  Thus, "-mdisable-indexing" may have to be
used in compiling the C code as well.  I need to investigate
further to determine why there is a problem with the base register
in C code.
