Subject: GCC default structure packing on SPARC Solaris and IA32 Linux
Date: Fri, 25 Oct 2002 13:41:00 -0000	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <200210251206.44172.shawn.starr@datawire.net> (raw)

I'm trying to find out what defaults GCC 2.95.3 use for packing structures on
Solarisd (if any) and RedHat's 'hacked' GCC 2.96 compiler.

Is it 4 Bytes on Solaris and 4 on IA32 Linux? I know that 2.95.3 (and 2.96)
are dead compilers but we're stuck with them for a while.

Any pointers would be helpful :-)

Thanks,
