Subject: bit-fields align
Date: Mon, 09 Dec 2002 17:46:00 -0000 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <200212091122.04095.diwil@eis.ru> (raw)
HI fellows,
In my port all bit-field operations being performed as with 'chars 8 bits'.
How to tell to gcc that they should be 16 bits?
I defined
BIGGEST_FIELD_ALIGNMENT as 16
ADJUST_FIELD_ALIGN(...) as 16
and this does not help.
Did I miss something?
Thanks.
