I'm now getting duplicates of every message on the gcc list. This has
been going on since sometime after 9 AM PDT (1600 UTC). The duplicates
all include headers like the following:

Received: from unknown (HELO epita.fr) (163.5.255.10)
   by sources.redhat.com with SMTP; 31 Jul 2003 23:52:52 -0000
Received: from kualalumpur.lrde.epita.fr (mail@kualalumpur.lrde.epita.fr
[10.223.13.1])
	by epita.fr id h6VNqoA27766 for <gcc@gcc.gnu.org>
EPITA Paris France Fri, 1 Aug 2003 01:52:50 +0200 (CEST)
Received: from babylon.lrde.epita.fr ([10.223.13.55] ident=mail)
by kualalumpur.lrde.epita.fr with esmtp (Exim 3.35 #1 (Debian))
	id 19iNEE-0002li-00
	for <gcc@gcc.gnu.org>; Fri, 01 Aug 2003 01:53:02 +0200
Received: from news by babylon.lrde.epita.fr with local (Exim 3.36 #1
(Debian))
	id 19iN00-0002Vm-00
	for <gcc@gcc.gnu.org>; Fri, 01 Aug 2003 01:38:20 +0200

It seems like lrde.epita.fr has a broken email-to-news gateway. Could
someone please either fix the gateway or prevent it from sending
duplicate messages to the list? This list has enough volume as it is
without doubling it.

Colin

I've unsubscribed the offending party and also blocked future email from
that direction.
