GCC 4.2.4 Status Report (2008-05-19)

Status
======

GCC 4.2.4 is now available to download from gcc.gnu.org and
ftp.gnu.org, and the 4.2 branch is open for commits under the normal
release branch rules.  The announcement of the 4.2.4 release will go
out in a few days' time after mirrors have had time to update.

There are no current plans for a 4.2.5 release, but someone, whether
or not on the normal release management team, may volunteer to produce
one at some point in the future.

If it's already on ftp.gnu.org, 24 hours should suffice (and you've
effectively announced the release in any case).
