egcs-1.0.1 pre-release diffs

I've made early copies of the diffs to upgrade from egcs-1.0 to egcs-1.0.1
available on ftp.cygnus.com:/pub/egcs/snapshots/1.0.1-prerelease

In theory the only additional changes that will be made for the release will
be replacing the various "egcs-1.0" references to "egcs-1.0.1" and updating
the INSTALL directory from the active web pages.


Here's the problems this diff addresses:

	* Red Hat 5.0 support.

	* Fix a few codegen bugs exposed by glibc2, mostly x86 backend
	problems.

	* Includes both __register_frame interfaces, so it should be
	compatable with both egcs-1.0 and gcc-2.8 (assuming gcc-2.8 does
	not change again before it's actually released!)

	* Bugfix to treat "asm" instructions with no outputs as volatile.
	(fixes mis-compilation of linux kernels).

	* A couple critical EH & Template bugfixes.

	* Bugfixes to the rs6000 & hppa backends (incorrect code generation
	and an abort respectively).

	* Bugfix to allow x86-solaris to build out of the box.

exposed on Alpha) would be in !

I can confirm that on m68k-next-nextstep3 the build with these  
patches applied to a virgin egcs-1.0 distribution completes  
successfully and that c-torture-1.45 finds no regressions.   
Unfortunately, as you know, I can't run dejagnu on  
m68k-next-nextstep3.
