Hi there,

is there any reference about the warning- and error-messages gcc (e.g.
4.0.1) produces when compiling a C-source code ?
What I'm looking for is a summary with some explanations. I tried hard,
but couldn't find something suitable.

Thanks and kind regards

We don't have a list of all of the warning/error messages that can be
produced by gcc. We don't have explanations of what the various
warning/error messages mean. We do get occasional requests for this.
Maybe some day.
