Any help would be appreciated.

I'm trying to build egcs-980411 (so I can build Blitz++) - am using
egcs-core + egcs-g++ + egcs-g77.

On a Solaris 2.5.1 box I get the same following error whether I use
gcc-2.7.2 (without binutils-2.9 in PATH) or egcs-1.0.2 (with
binutils-2.9 in PATH):

gmake[2]: Entering directory

\
  -c ./cp/tinfo.cc
