I remember it. I am certain there were no replies, since I flag every
EGCSmessage that contains the string "fixinc". Here's a refresher for the
"proactively defensive":
Please try configuring EGCS on your AIX/Solaris/HP-UX box
"--with-fast-fixincludes". If you are *especially* proactive and
you have one of the boxes that either has a special script or a NULL
fixup (the Makefile will set "FIXINCLUDES" to "Makefile.in"),
then cd to egcs/gcc and alter the assignment to FIXINCLUDES thus:
FIXINCLUDES = fixinc.sh
then do this:
rm -f stmp-fixinc
make stmp-fixinc
and let me (or Jeff) know if the resulting header files (under egcs/gcc/include)
are correct or where they are not. **THANKS**!!

Yep. Fixes sometimes do need to be sensitive to the target OS.

I hate cutting my hands, but I did enjoy looking over 1,600 feet recentlywhile
my wife screached. :-)
