You must have missed the discussion that the h8300-coff was OK. This was a configurery problem where *-*-rtems* did not catch h8300*-*-* which disabled fortran libraries. This kind of goes back to the issue of how to generically disable languages for certain CPUs. I think this would be a good idea which as Jim Wilson points out could have unfortunate side-effects for sloppy ports which don't support all languages. Conversely, we have added languages untested on all ports so we are perpetuating the problem. > brgds, H-P --joel
