Hi all,

I just wanted to lookup a detail of the STL performance paper and had to
notice that the link on http://www.gccsummit.org/2004/ to the papers is
dead: http://people.redhat.com/lockhart/.gcc04/

In fact the whole people directory is empty ... :-(

Have fun,
   René

A known problem. See the thread at
     http://gcc.gnu.org/ml/gcc/2004-08/msg00340.html

Neither one of the sites in question is controlled by us. I sent mail
to the owner of the gccsummit.org site, and got a response, but
unfortunately he was traveling and could not fix it right away. That
was only about a week ago. Maybe he is still traveling.

A PDF file containing the full proceedings is TEMPORARILY at

http://www.welsh-buck.org/tmp/MasterGCC-2side.pdf

Please don't make links to that location, as it's not going to stay there
for long; I'd like to get it on the gcc site but think that it should be
split into individual articles first. It's a waste of bandwidth to force
people to download the full proceedings just to read one paper.

All the 2003 and 2004 papers are now split (thanks to Joe Buck and Zack
Weinberg for the files).
I've placed the individual paper files in my sources.redhat.com homedir
/home/dberlin/summit2003 and /home/dberlin/summit2004

Thanks, Daniel!

ftp://gcc.gnu.org/pub/gcc/summit/ now has all these papers in our public
FTP directory.
