You can get precompiled 3.01 binaries from http://rpmfind.net, searching
for gcc3, gcc3-c++, gcc3-java, libstdc++3, etc..

If you don't even know which redhat version you wish to use, you are much
better off building from the source, although the links on
http://gcc.gnu.org may be of assistance.
