Hi,
The configuration of libstdc++ in not supported for
target=h8300-elf in gcc 3.1.1 release, however this
support is there in 3.2 [gcc version 3.2 20020703 (experimental)].
I have successfully build h8300-elf-gcc 3.2 (now 3.3) from the
mainline branch with libstdc++ support.
Since the 3.1 branch (now 3.2) is still open to c++ changes,
I would like to see the libstdc++ support for h8300-elf in next gcc
release.
Is that a too much of work for next release?
Regards.
Nitin.
PS: I apologize for the confusing gcc version references. Please let
know if any clarification is required.

No; adding support for features that did not exist is OK.

No; 3.2 is an ABI bug-fix only release.

Hi,
I'm confused! I don't see this patch checked in gcc sources
in the described version number of the gcc/configure.in
http://sources.redhat.com/ml/gdb-patches/2001-09/msg00001.html
It is not present in gcc 3.1.1 however it is there in sources
downloded from cvs head (3.3) @subversions.gnu.org:/cvsroot/gcc.
Can this patch be released with 3.2 also?
Regards.
Nitin.
