Stale CVS Lock?

Stale CVS Lock?

Hello,

This weekend, I have repeatedly attempted to get the gcc_3.2-branch from
cvs, but keep getting hung on the following:

cvs server: [13:16:25] waiting for anoncvs's lock in 
/cvsroot/gcc/gcc/gcc/config/d30v
cvs server: [13:16:55] waiting for anoncvs's lock in 
/cvsroot/gcc/gcc/gcc/config/d30v

At one point, I let it sit overnight hanging on that lock.

Here's the command, I'm using to check it out:

cvs -z3 -d :pserver:anoncvs@subversions.gnu.org:/cvsroot/gcc co -r 
gcc-3_2-branch gcc

I believe there is probably a stale lock on the cvs server.  Could 
someone please
check this out and let me know.

Hi Steven,

I'm not sure that's the cause of my problems.  It has repeatedly hung on
a lock on the same file, which suggests that it is not a problem caused 
by
load.

I fixed it.  The read lock file had been there for two hours, so it was
clearly useless, and I deleted it.
