Ever since the recent gcc devel merge, I have not been able to complete a
successfull cvs update. CVS always updates a large chunk and then just
hangs. If I ^c cvs and start again, it updates a bit more and hangs
again. As far as I know, nothing has changed on my end. I'm using cvs
1.10.3 here.
Does anyone have any ideas why this would have just started to be a
problem?

No idea. I haven't had any problems updating from the CVS tree.
