My ISP (ibm.net) used to carry your lists via the usenet newsgroups
muc.lists.egcs.*. I was a regular reader, but rarely (never?) have
posted anything.

This feed seems to have stopped queueing new messages on my ISPs
servers on Feb 21st. I have since subscribed via e-mail, but I have a
few questions. After searching through the archives, I have not come
across an answer so I am asking the group.

Were the muc.lists.egcs.* ever intended to mirror this lists posting?

After the list conversion, did you intentionally disable the mail-news
gateway?

Is it just that the mail<->news gateway has been down for a week?

Is it my ISPs newsservers are no longer carrying it?

Or if none of the above, what is it?

Curious, since I have always found that reading selective threads via a
good newsreader is always much easier than getting every post by via
e-mail. Web based archives are a method of last resort for me.

You would need to discuss this with whomever maintains the muc.lists
news hierarchy. We have nothing to do with that gateway.

No.

Could be. No way for us to tell since we don't maintain that mail<->news
gateway.

  > Is it my ISPs newsservers are no longer carrying it?
No idea.
