I have patches for 2.95.2 that do most of that. I'll finish them off and
port them forward to the mainline this weekend.


btw, I have at last succeeded in extracting a disclaimer from my
employers (it took two months) after they abruptly changed my terms and
conditions on me to include a truly penal IP clause; essentially
`everything you do is ours'. Accordingly I can get back to doing GCC
stuff without feeling guilty, and I can send in the assignment (and
disclaimer) at last.
