RH Linux (no particular version; not anymore =)) running KDE ! =+)

no problems whatsoever
config.guess output: i586-pc-linux-gnu
config line:
.../egcs-1.1a/configure --prefix=/usr --enable-shared --enable-haifa
--with-gnu-as --with-gnu-ld
make line:
make CFLAGS='-O' LIBCFLAGS='-g -O2' LIBCXXFLAGS='-g -O2
-fno-implicit-templates' bootstrap
