Hello

I was trying to configure gcc on cygwin. On opening the config.log i
found that it was giving the message
conftest.c no such file or directory.
when i checked a machine in which i had configured gcc for linux the
config.log did not have this message but the conftest.c file was absent
in both. Any pointers what to do.

With regards

A new conftest.c file is created in the build tree by configure, for
every compilation test performed by configure.
