Subject: Sythetic registers: modrm/gas question.
Date: Sun, 05 Jan 2003 06:08:00 -0000	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <E18V3iy-0000ev-00@conure.mail.pas.earthlink.net> (raw)

How do I tell gas to assemble an operand as a one-byte offset instead of a
four-byte offset?

e.g.

MOV	eax,[ebp + 4]

Does it "just know?"

Andy
