\uc1\pard\plain\deftab360 \f0\fs20 Hi there,\par
\par
When I tried to compile c files using GCC 3.01, I encounters some\par
strange messages which do make any sense to me. At the end is the\par
messages I got. The command i issued to compile one c file is:\par
\par
gcc -pedantic-errors -fdiagnostics-show-location=every-line -pipe -traditional -c llpcfg.c\par
\par
The traditional and c options are required, since we use some extern keywords.\par

Yes and no: all four have come though as RTF attachments.

I'm going to guess that you're using the system assembler with a gcc
binary built to assume the GNU assembler. (on an HP?)

If you got a binary distribution of gcc, try installing binutils too. If
you built gcc yourself, make sure you're not configuring '--with-gnu-as'
or try adding '--with-as=<full-path-to-gnu-assembler>'.

Rup.

\uc1\pard\plain\deftab360 \f0\fs20 Hi there,\par
\par
I send several emails to this account, the messages are kicked back. I am wondering if the message did get through. The postmaster always complains about the html format of the email. However, after the first message was returned, I changed to plain text format.\par
\par
Can anybody give me some help on the issues I got?\par
\par
Thanks a lot.\par
