Hi guys,
Sorry to bother you with a non-developer question but I was hoping someone
could tell me whether or not the standard C++ "bitset" class (not the
libg++ one) is going to be or has been implemented. Egcs 1.0.2 doesn't
seem to have it. It seems like it would be a useful class to have,
especially for amateurs like me. :)
Thanks,
-Ossama

The rewritten libstdc++ will (at the end) implement what the standard
says, plus a few extensions which are already part of STL (rope,
single-linked lists etc). That's all. I don't think it is a good
idea to add all the fancy classes people come up with. For this there
should be a separate project.
I should have posted a message about this some time ago, some people
are already trying to set up something like a library with a
collection of various classes. I'm trying to come up with something
which could be a call for participation.

Uli, would you mind providing us info about the contents of
libstdc++'s rewrite? I'm asking this because this will of course
influence the contents of a successor for libg++.

Will be available soon in the libstdc++ rewrite.
