Subject: Success building egcs
Date: Wed, 10 Dec 1997 19:28:00 -0000	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <Pine.LNX.3.96.971211132341.14595A-100000@t-rex.materials.unsw.edu.au> (raw)

I have successfully built egcs-1.0 (gcc, g++, g77) on
an linux box (not really an important box) but also

on a pair of alphastation 255/233 boxen (osf3.2g and osf4.0b)
as indicated by the output of srcdir/config.guess.

alpha-dec-osf3.2
alpha-dec-osf4.0b

I haven't done any extesive testing yet, but I am very happy
that g77 builds and appears to work.

Much kudos is yours.

Dave
