Is it possible you missed installing the updated
maintainer-scripts/crontab file in the gccadmin account, Richi?
I did that now (after svn up-ing the copy in ~/scripts in the
gccadmin account, the version in SVN already had the change)
and removed traces of this snapshot from gcc.gnu.org.
