Dear all:
We are encounter a problem with low version of GCC in Red Hat
Enterprise Linux 4.
our software pass the compile on Fedora 6 with GCC 4 ,but fail the
compiling in Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4 with GCC 3.XX.
I just download a gcc4-4.1.1-53.EL4 Source RPM from
http://rpmfind.net//linux/RPM/redhat/enterprise/updates/4AS/gcc4-4.1.1-53.EL4.src.html,
Do you think this update will solve problem?
      Thanks very much!
    kind regards
       yours Bing

Questions like this should be sent to the mailing list
gcc-help@gcc.gnu.org, not to gcc@gcc.gnu.org. Please take any followups
to gcc-help.

gcc 4.4 has not yet been released, so I can't recommend using it. As
far as I know the current gcc 4.3 release will work fine on Red Hat
Enterprise Linux. If you have trouble, I recommend talking to Red Hat.

Ian
