It seems that libstdc++ requires libpthread. I don't know if this
is true in general, but if so, then the "specs" file should be
fixed (sorry, its a little beyond me).

So?  If you've really got glibc 2.0.5, you should 
have libpthread.

I believe it was H.J. Lu who answered this a few days back - the
message was that two symbols in libc-lock.h need #pragma weak.
