Is pgcc still alive? What is the status of back porting to gcc/egcs?
What about code fusion?

Please have a look at the PentiumGCC FAQ. A link to the official
PentiumGCC page is available from http://egcs.cygnus.com/egcstensions.html

PentiumGCC is a separate, though related, project, different from EGCS
resp. GCC.

It was certainly just a transient error --

Server: cygnus.com
Address: 205.180.230.20

Non-authoritative answer:
Name: goof.com
Address: 12.4.218.41
Aliases: www.gcc.ml.org, www.goof.com

FYI: I contacted Marc Lehmann and he told me that ml.org has been
abandoned, thus also name service for www.gcc.ml.org.

Interestingly some name servers like ours or the one of cygnus still
have (cached?) the old address, but in any case Marc has updated the
link on the egcstensions.html page, so that it should now work for all
of us.

The latter one does look dead:

The following error was encountered:
Unable to determine IP address from host name for www.gcc.ml.org

The dnsserver returned:
DNS Domain 'www.gcc.ml.org' is invalid: Host not found (authoritative).

Yeah, *.ml.org died many many months ago. It may even be a year now.
No doubt some other dynamic DNS service hosts that site now, but .ml.org
certainly isn't it.

Uh? I tried just before sending my original message and just tried again:
Both http://egcs.cygnus.com/egcstensions.html and the link from there to
http://www.gcc.ml.org/ work fine for me.

(Or did you mean to indicate that I should have used http://gcc.gnu.org/
instead of http://egcs.cygnus.com/ ?)
