From mboxrd@z Thu Jan 1 00:00:00 1970 From: Kevin Buettner To: gdb-announce@sourceware.cygnus.com Subject: GNU/Linux PPC native support for gdb now in CVS Date: Mon, 21 Feb 2000 20:44:00 -0000 Message-id: <1000222044054.ZM9910@ocotillo.lan> X-SW-Source: 2000/msg00001.html As you can probably guess by the subject, the "official" sources for gdb now contain support for native debugging of programs running on the PPC port of the GNU/Linux operating system. (Unofficial patches for this platform have been available for quite some time.) Help with the testing of this port is needed. If you have access to a linux/ppc box and have the will and inclination, either check out current sources from CVS or wait until the next ftp snapshot is made. More details about this port may be found in the following archived messages: http://sourceware.cygnus.com/ml/gdb/2000-q1/msg00365.html http://sourceware.cygnus.com/ml/gdb-patches/2000-q1/msg00293.html See http://sourceware.cygnus.com/gdb/ for information on how to access the sourceware CVS repository.
