Subject: [Bug symtab/15547] New: info types searches msymbols
Date: Tue, 28 May 2013 22:20:00 -0000 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <bug-15547-4717@http.sourceware.org/bugzilla/> (raw)
http://sourceware.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=15547
Bug ID: 15547
Summary: info types searches msymbols
Product: gdb
Version: HEAD
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: symtab
Assignee: unassigned at sourceware dot org
Reporter: dje at google dot com
(gdb) info types b
...
Non-debugging symbols:
__bss_start
Absent some old debug format (stabs?) is there a reason to search minsyms for
types? If not, and we still have to support old debug formats that do this,
can we record some information somewhere to make the output of "info types"
more useful?
