Sorry, of course, yes I have news. Forgot to post them here. The issue was
caused by switching on both settings in qtcreator: "Use Debugging Helper" and
"Load system GDB pretty printers", and solved by switching off the latter one.
So it was an issue of qtcreator. It obviously cannot determine and display the
values of std::vector, when both settings are switched on. Using only "Load
system GDB pretty printers" is useless in qtcreator, since no vector values are
shown. But using only "Use Debugging Helper" does the job exactly as wanted.
