With current trunk (at commit e37c930f9e "gcc-4.4.7 warning fixes"), I see
these probably related internal errors:

FAIL: gdb.dwarf2/variant.exp: print as Negative (GDB internal error)

Looking at gdb.dwarf2/variant.exp:
...
