There isn't one particular thing that comes to mind, but last time I tried = GDB on macOS (on someone else's computer) it just didn't seem to be in a good enough shape to be useful. Trying to run yielded cryptic errors, I figured= GDB would need to be updated to keep up with newer macOS versions.
