I downloaded the source tar file for gdb 12.1 and applied the patch. The p= atch applies without any issues however I get a compile failure: error: =E2=80=98floatformats_ieee_quad=E2=80=99 was not declared in this sc= ope; did you mean =E2=80=98floatformats_ia64_quad=E2=80=99? I am assuming your backport of my patch fixes that issue. If you can attach the backport of the IEEE 128 support patch that you used, I will see if I c= an reproduce the issue on my system. I am not sure it is worth me trying to do the backport as well since I can't guarantee the backports will match.
