That second test case is pretty weird.
I think that sort of VLA is a GNU extension, I tend to
doubt it exists in real code anywhere.
I wonder if gdb's "print" can even handle it (didn't try yet).

Anyway I wonder if it's sufficient to translate these into
non-VLAs for the purposes of 'compile'.
