Subject: ANNOUNCE: CGEN 1.0 is released
Date: Fri, 28 Jul 2000 17:36:00 -0000	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <20000728171523.A31257@redhat.com> (raw)

Hi -

On July 27, 2000, Red Hat has released CGEN 1.0, a CPU tools generator program
to sources.redhat.com. This Scheme program has been used in an increasing
number of target ports to generate parts of the C code in the opcodes
(assembler/disassembler) libraries and gdb's CPU simulators. See
         http://sources.redhat.com/cgen/
for more information and pointers to the sources.

The program was originally written by Doug Evans while at Cygnus,
and is going to be maintained by him, me, and Ben Elliston.
