I'm not sure that it is > the case today. That's true gnulib does not check for %z. But whole .microsoft.com does not mention vasprintf so I believe it would get substituted by gnulib there. Currently it probably gets substituted by libiberty/_doprnt.c which does not support %z so the vasprintf inclusion by gnulib is still needed. Thanks, Jan
