GDB 10 branching is discussed on the gdb-patches mailing list, and regular (~weekly) updates are sent there, if you are interested in following progress: https://sourceware.org/pipermail/gdb-patches/ We're down to one last important issue to fix before we can branch. Once the branch is created, a first pre-release will be created. If all goes well, the official release will then be created a couple of weeks after. If blocking issues are discovered, however, we will have to wait for fixes to be made, and there is little way to predict how long this could take (this is a volunteer project). -- Joel
