Gdb 7.2 segfaulting

Gdb 7.2 segfaulting

Hi,

I installed gdb 7.2 via macports on osx 10.6. However when I run it, I get

unable to read unknown load command 0x1a
Segmentation fault

I also tried compiling it manually but I still get the same error.

Any help would be greatly appreciated,

 ran the gdb 7.2 in gdb 6.3.5

I get the the following error

Program received signal EXC_BAD_ACCESS, Could not access memory.
