Subject: [Bug regex/503] New: fastmap loop in regex can be tightened
Date: Thu, 04 Nov 2004 08:55:00 -0000	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <20041104085545.503.bonzini@gnu.org> (raw)

Patch at http://sources.redhat.com/ml/libc-alpha/2004-10/msg00166.html

It hoists several conditionals outside the "fastmap" loop, speeding up for
example regexes that start with a period (depending on the input, things such as
[A-Za-z]+ could be made faster as well).
