[Bug localedata/244] New: Need WINDOWS-874 as alias for IBM874

The most widely used character set name in Thailand is "windows-874".  This is
not supported by glibc.  It's the same as IBM874, which is already supported as
glibc.  See

So, please add windows-874 as an alias for IBM874.

Patch to enable new alias WINDOWS-874 for charset IBM874


I assume you are talking about charmaps supported by the iconv subset.
Here is a patch to enable WINDOWS-874 as an alias for IBM874.  The
other charmaps uses capital letter, so I used 'WINDOWS-874' instead
of your requested 'windows-874'.
