[Bug localedata/2473] New: please add am_pm formatting information to en_NZ

Hi,
the New Zealand locale file /usr/share/i18n/locales/en_NZ is missing
strings for "am" and "pm". These should be the same as those in the
en_AU (Australia) locale file. (Also, the en_GB file is missing these
too, and I assume they should also be the same.)

You have to provide evidence that am/pm is actually used.  If the am/pm format
isn't officially required and only just understood there is no reason to add it.
 Pointers to official web sites etc needed.

At the very least, the gnome clock applet uses it.

Hi Ulrich, 

New Zealand Standard Time and New Zealand Daylight Time are defined in the New
Zealand Time Act of 1974. 

This act uses the am/pm designation to define the start and end of the Daylight
Savings time period each year. 

I guess you could call that official use :)

I looked up some newspaper myself and they seem to confirm it.  I changed the
locale.
