During Hurd/Mach glibc 2.6 compilation of mach/spin-solid.c, I get this:

In file included from ../mach/lock-intern.h:22,
                 from ../mach/spin-lock.h:23,
                 from spin-solid.c:19:
../sysdeps/mach/i386/machine-lock.h:38: error: syntax error before 'void'

And indeed, before machine-lock.h is included, <sys/cdefs.h> never gets included for defining __extern_inline...
