Hi,
Tarballs for glibc-2.6 and glibc-2.6.1 do not include an updated
libc.pot file, but still the one from libc-2.5. For now I've run
'make libc.pot' myself in a recent cvs checkout and announced the
result as libc-2.6.1.pot to the translators.
Four messages now contain a "\v", whose usage is discouraged.
Please divide those messages into two separate ones, one that
summarizes program behaviour, and one that says where to report
bugs (or how input/output behave, for the first one) as is done
for most other programs too.
catgets/gencat.c:119
elf/sprof.c:89
locale/programs/locale.c:87
nss/getent.c:62
Regards,
Benno

The glibc-bugs mailing list is not for people to post to, but only for
automated messages. Please post to libc-alpha@sources.redhat.com instead.
