From: "madcoder at debian dot org" <sourceware-bugzilla@sourceware.org> To: glibc-bugs@sources.redhat.com Subject: [Bug libc/5103] New: still one (rather minor) issue with escaping in glob. Date: Thu, 04 Oct 2007 09:31:00 -0000 [thread overview] Message-ID: <20071004093126.5103.madcoder@debian.org> (raw) glob("%d\n", "\\/*", 0, 0, &buf) yields GLOB_NOMATCH where it should yield 0. Though, glob("%d\n", "/\\/*", 0, 0, &buf) works correctly, glob("%d\n", "\\/bin/*", 0, 0, &buf) as well. it seems that the issue is with "\\/" directly followed by globbing chars ("\\/???" or "\\/??n" fail as well, where both should at least match /bin). I've not been able to make it fail if the pattern wasn't of this form. -- Summary: still one (rather minor) issue with escaping in glob.
